Complete Design Partnership. We are pleased to announce that CDP are now part of the Hydrock Group of companies.

CDP was originally formed in February 1994; its personnel have extensive knowledge & experience, able to provide expertise in all Structural & Civil Engineering fields; from the commissioning / overseeing of initial site investigation, onto full design & detailing for all structural & civil engineering works. All design & detail being carried out on the latest Autodesk Building Design Suite and Infrastructure Design Suite, including Revit, 3D Civils together with PDS ground modeller and Autotrack. CDP use the latest design & detail software combined with extensive knowledge and practical experience of the construction industry.

With the diverse nature of Engineering, many developments have been succesfully completed on brownfield sites, involving alternative economical sub-structure design. The Practice also carries out a considerable amount of specialist design in various materials; glass, aluminium and stainless steel for use in commercial and retail developments. This includes all forms of barriers e.g. vehicular and pedestrian, together with their associated components and fixings.

We also have extensive experience in surveys on domestic, commercial and industrial buildings. We are able to carry out a visual inspection of the property and report on the defects observed and where necessary, more extensive investigations can be arranged to determine causes of any defects, e.g. soil investigations, drainage tests, together with desktop studies relating to previous usage etc.; resulting from this, recommendations can be provided in relation to rectification and correction. The Practice has a good working relationship with Local Authorities, NHBC, and other public bodies.

Where required, we can call upon the services of additional Consultants, i.e. Geotechnical, Architectural, Cost Analysis, Mechanical & Electrical, Planning etc. in order to provide economical design solutions tailored to suit the individual needs of the clients and projects, to maintain a concentrated service throughout. We strive to provide economic and viable solutions for whatever size of project by working closely with the client, consultants and contractors from the inception of a project through to it's completion. The service provided by CDP is of a high quality and reflected by the fact that we have a considerable amount of repeat business with our clients freely recommending our services to others.
