Our approach is based on forming a complete understanding of a buildings original construction. When this knowledge is achieved we can then formulate a design to serve the client’s brief; including possible alteration and/or repair of the existing building in a sympathetic manner and in line with the basic principles of conservation. 
We believe that the initial condition survey is the key to achieving this understanding and we have experience of carrying out close inspection surveys on all types of buildings, churches, large private country houses, garden structures and public buildings.

A large programme of repair and conservation and extension is currently being undertaken to this Elizabethan Manor House midway along the Menai Straits.  The project includes refurbishment and new sandstone and glazed extension of the Victorian Wing to provide swimming pool, spa leisure facilities overlooking the existing lake.

Refurbishment and extension of existing Grade II listed Banking Hall in Leicester City dating from 1900-02 for retail, restaurant and exclusive residential apartments.

St. Johns Church, Bromsgrove

CLIENT: St. Johns Church PCC
CONTRACTOR: Williams Sapcote & Sons Ltd

 

A large programme of repair and conservation is currently being undertaken at the existing Norman church. This involves complete replacement of the Nave roof construction and large scale masonry repairs to the Tower; Spire and Nave parapet.
